New Adventures

At only 10, well almost 11 months old now, Boston has been introduced to many of the fun places Utah has to offer for kids.  I think since he was cooped up for so long, Grandma Morris and I felt like he needed to experience everything in like....a Week!

Since June, Boston has taken a fieldtrip to Discovery Gateway, the children's museum downtown Salt Lake.  He's been to Liberty Park, also downtown where there are old-fashioned amusement rides, a water way, an aviary, and more.  He went swimming at the South Jordan Aquatic Center.  He fed the geese and took a hay ride (which he slept through) at Wheeler Farm, a historic place in Murray.  And just a couple of weeks ago he went to the Aquarium (where he enjoyed watching the kids run around all wild and crazy, more so than the sealife).

Hopefully we aren't overloading his senses!

Grandma was so excited to take Boston on a hayride...

Unfortunately, by the time we got to it...the heat had gotten the best of him!

I had hair behind my ears that was longer than the rest. Mom took care of that!

(I took my first official crawl on this day.  Dad was gone scouting for deer, but within a couple of days I did it so ALL could see).

I love my Rubber Duckie tub.  It quacks when you squeeze the beak!  Mom was afraid to bathe me in the garden tub, so this is the first step out of the sink.

1st step towards walking: August 8, 2010

You were standing up to the couch and Grandma Morris held her hands out and said "Come here Boston". You let go of the couch and took your first step towards walking before falling into her arms!
