In mentioning short naps..I have probably 15 minutes (or less) while he is asleep in his swing! So, here's the guiness book of world records for "quickest blog".
Boston's accomplishments over the past month:
1. Beefed up to a heavy 11 pounds 12 ounces!
2. Became quite the jabber jaws! Boston has really starting talking. Especially to Dad. Oh how Joe can make him laugh! It must be a guy thing- like men in their garages, working on their cars, farting...I guess I'll never understand!
2. Discovered his strong hands and grabs everything (including Mom's hair and Diesel's ears-OUCH)!
3. Possibly teething because he constantly wants something in his mouth and oh how the drool has started!
4. Starting to recognize his feet. He kicks and kicks. He splashed his feet in the bathtub and drenched my mom!
5. He's recognizing his brother and sister, Diesel and Mia. He constantly wants to chase them. I have to put him on the floor and let him walk all around the house after them. Oh and he laughs constantly at Diesel. The other day Diesel was doing tricks for us. When he jumped Boston giggled every time. Poor Diesel. I think I made him jump 20 times in a row just to entertain us! p.s. Diesel did get lots of cookies for all of his hard work!
6. Last but not least, on March 17, 2010 Julie watched Boston sit up on his own! Boston was laying on an incline under his play mat when he decided he had had enough and wanted up. He leaned forward and brought himself up over his feet. With his back rounded over, his hands touching the ground he sat like this for 10 minutes! When Joe and I got home from work Boston showed us his neat trick!
It has been a very exciting month. To think Boston's corrected age is only 3 months, real age almost 6 months and he is doing all of these things. It's been so fun to watch him accomplish new feats and see his personality come alive! He is such a healthy and happy boy! We continue to be blessed.

Journal entries for me:
Boston is buiding his neck muscles pretty well. He is holding his head up much better. In fact, on March 9, 2010 I decided we could break out the Baby Bjorn Active Carrier and see how he would do in it. He LOVED it. Being able to face outwards and stare at everything! In the bathroom, we stand in front of the mirror. I lean forward just slightly and say "Fly, Boston, Fly!" I zoom left and right and he just starts giggling.
Oh and speaking of mirrors. One of his favorite things is to stare at himself in the mirror. He gets the biggest grin on his face and talks up a storm to the baby in the mirror. He also wants you to stand him on the counter and he walks up to himself.
Boston wants to walk and walk and walk. With your support of his torso he has been walking since 4 months old. I'm afraid he won't crawl first. If he could have it his way he would walk all day long. He is definitely Joe's son. Joe was standing by himself at 6 months and walking by 8. Ah oh. We are in for trouble.
On March 14, 2010 I stood Boston up to the seat of a toddler rocking chair. Dumb me didn't think...rocking chairs slide. The chair started to slide backwards. I reached out to grab Boston thinking he was going to face plant when the smart little kid...picked up his feet and just walked with it. Joe and I both looked at each other like...did that really happen? So, we thought we had better test Boston and see if he could do it again. And sure enough...when he wanted to...he would walk with it.
Boston's favorite things:
Favorite toys: Baby Einstein Turtle that plays music and a Sassy plastic Look Book that he chews on.
Favorite songs: He loves when I sing "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley. Who knew, mom isn't into reggae but somehow she knew the words and tune to this song! He also loves when I give him kisses from his stuffed Tigger and sing "the most wonderful thing about Tiggers...Woo hoo hoo hoo! Oh, and most importantly...he gets so excited when mom and dad sing the University of Utah fight song!
